Energy and Sustainability Engineering
Penn’s Master of Science in Engineering in Energy and Sustainability (MESE) prepares students for impactful careers in the energy and sustainability industries through hands-on, real-world learning. The curriculum emphasizes experiential projects, team-based capstones, and the option to integrate an internship, helping students build a portfolio that demonstrates immediate value to employers.
Designed for students with technical backgrounds, MESE offers flexible pathways across four concentration areas, guided by faculty mentorship and supported by Penn’s interdisciplinary resources—including Wharton, Arts and Sciences, and the Weitzman School of Design.
