Energy and Sustainability Engineering
Applications are submitted via Penn Engineering’s Office of Graduate Admissions, and detailed instructions can be found here.
For students planning to begin in Fall 2026, applications will open in December 2025 and are due February 1, 2026. Students are encouraged to apply early, as admissions decisions will be made on a rolling basis. All decisions will be communicated by April 1, 2026.
The application requires a resume, personal statement, two letters of recommendation, a non-refundable application fee, and an unofficial transcript. Official transcripts will be required if you are admitted to the program. TOEFL, IELTS, or DET results are required for students who do not have English as a native language. GRE scores are optional.
